Who is responsible

The operator of Nooklino is responsible for the personal data described here. The operator’s full identity, postal address and email are provided on our Impressum / Seller details page. Use that contact for privacy requests and questions. This notice is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

Data and purposes

When you browse, Shopify processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, page interactions and cookie identifiers to deliver and secure the store and provide its analytics. When you order, we process your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, the telephone number if supplied, items ordered, payment status, transaction references and shipment information. We use these details to handle payment, fulfill and track your order, answer questions, manage claims, prevent fraud and keep legally required records. The payment provider processes the payment credentials you enter; please do not send card details or identity documents to our support email.

We receive information directly from you, through the store, and from payment and fulfillment services, including payment and delivery updates. Support correspondence is used to answer and resolve your request. Marketing subscriptions are optional; you can unsubscribe from promotional messages. Order and service messages remain separate from marketing.

Service providers

Shopify hosts the store and provides checkout, payment-related functionality, security and store analytics. Payment services shown at checkout process information needed for the payment you choose. DSers is connected for product, order and fulfillment management; order and customer details needed for these functions are shared through that connection. DSers has app permissions covering customer contact/address information, device/activity information, orders and fulfillment. Suppliers and delivery carriers receive information needed to deliver an order and investigate a shipment or product claim. They do not need your full payment-card details.

Our support email uses Google’s Gmail service. Information you send there is handled through Google’s email infrastructure. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in an enquiry. Information may also be disclosed where a legal duty or the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim requires it.

CJdropshipping fulfillment

CJdropshipping is connected to this store to source products, manage inventory, process orders and provide tracking. To fulfill an order, CJ and its suppliers and delivery partners receive the recipient’s name, delivery address, contact information where needed, items ordered and shipment details. Our launch product ships from China, so the necessary order and delivery data is processed in China as part of this international fulfillment arrangement. See CJ’s privacy policy for information about its processing. China does not provide the same statutory level of data protection as Switzerland. Contact us using the Impressum for questions about these recipients and international processing.

Shopify Network Intelligence

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled. Shopify can combine information from interactions with this store with information from other merchants or services to provide enhanced services, including personalization and advertising. For this processing, Shopify has responsibilities as a separate controller. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify privacy portal for details and choices.

International processing

Shopify’s hosting setting for this store is the European Union. That does not mean that all processing stays in the EU. Shopify International Limited in Ireland receives Swiss customer data, with onward processing that includes Canada and the United States. Shopify explains its transfer protections, including contractual safeguards, in its Data Processing Addendum; its subprocessor list identifies further providers and processing locations. DSers states in its privacy policy that it transfers and processes personal data in the United States. Gmail also involves processing outside Switzerland; see Google’s privacy policy.

Supplier delivery arrangements can require disclosure of the delivery details to the supplier in the dispatch country stated for the product. Cross-border processing is subject to the applicable Swiss requirements. You can contact the operator for information about recipients, destination countries and applicable safeguards for your order.

Cookies and choices

Necessary cookies support functions such as the cart, checkout, security and your privacy choices. Optional analytics, personalization and advertising technologies are governed by the choices available in the store’s cookie controls. Where a cookie banner is displayed, you can reject optional categories or adjust your preferences. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser, although blocking necessary cookies can affect shopping functions. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy notice.

Retention and security

We retain order and accounting records for applicable legal retention periods; records subject to Swiss accounting retention are generally kept for ten years. Support and other information is kept only as long as needed for its purpose, outstanding claims or a legal obligation. We use the platform’s security controls and limit access to those who need it. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can request information about your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, and deletion or cessation of processing where the legal conditions are met. You can withdraw consent for future processing based on that consent, and request data portability where applicable. Retention duties and other lawful exceptions can limit a request. Contact the operator via the Impressum; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. We update this notice when our processing changes.
